Raya at Gombak

On August 31, most people would play fireworks because it is known as our Independence day MERDEKA!

Merdeka so happen fell on the second day of Raya. 

After much persuasion, Dad finally gave in and drove us up to Gombak to celebrate raya with the rest of the family and finally enjoyed some awesome fireworks! (thanks to Pak Su)

I decided to try something new, and went full black and white photos. 

I was trying out old school photography.

If you notice at the corner it says "cousins work", since my camera was always been passed around among the cousins, i had no idea who took which picture. So i just named the pictures that was taken by them "cousins work and cousins touch"

The firecracker was LOUD, everyone at one point of time was saving our eardrums.

This was our first Raya on our own without the grandparents. Even though it felt a little weird, we had a lot of fun and for the first time after what seem a long time, we hanged out together during Raya and had a blast.

Many stories were exchanged among us and many memories were brought back. 

This definitely one of the memorable day for all us.
