Raya With Friends

What is Raya without some friends? 

After spending many days with family, it was finally time for spending time with my friends from the 'kampung' and from school.  

The first group to come was the people who I grew up with at "Kampung Raja Uda",

And this is just half of them.

Soon after they left, to head to Acap's house the "Acmarians" Family arrived right on time.

Though i would love if Sean didnt get lost every time he comes to the house!

The reason why the Kampung group has more photos is because most of them enjoy posing in front of the camera while my mixed family, we prefer sitting down and talking about anything and everything. We talk so much that we forgot that we had camera's to take pictures with each other. 

After making more promises and counting down to the amount of years that is left before we have to dig it out. Everyone made their move and hoping that we can see each other again during Christmas. 

Raya at Gombak

On August 31, most people would play fireworks because it is known as our Independence day MERDEKA!

Merdeka so happen fell on the second day of Raya. 

After much persuasion, Dad finally gave in and drove us up to Gombak to celebrate raya with the rest of the family and finally enjoyed some awesome fireworks! (thanks to Pak Su)

I decided to try something new, and went full black and white photos. 

I was trying out old school photography.

This was our first Raya on our own without the grandparents. Even though it felt a little weird, we had a lot of fun and for the first time after what seem a long time, we hanged out together during Raya and had a blast.

Many stories were exchanged among us and many memories were brought back. 

This definitely one of the memorable day for all us.
